The practice offers ‘General Medical Services’ as well as a number of ‘Enhanced Services’. We run a series of nurse led clinics dealing with chronic conditions, as well as cervical screening, sexual & reproductive health. Please note that flu, childhood, covid and travel vaccinations are no longer provided by General Practice. More information can be found on NHS inform Scotland.
A Community Treatment Room and Care Service is provided in East Dunbartonshire, Bishopbriggs and Auchinairn area. Most phlebotomy (bloods), injections, wound care and ear irrigation are provided by this service. Please do not contact the service for bloods unless instructed by the practice staff. The required test requests must be entered into a database for the staff to collect samples, if this step hasn’t been carried out you will be turned away from the service. At present (until a central new Hub is established) the service runs from clinical rooms in Brackenbrae, Kenmure, Springfield and Auchinairn practices. You will generally be offered an appointment at your usual practice but if the day and time don’t suit you will be seen in one of the other local practices.
